Arrows Out! is a logic puzzle game by FYG, known in-game as Arrow Escape. Each level presents a board of arrows pointing along different paths, and your job is to remove every arrow before the timer expires. The main challenge is choosing a safe sequence: sending a blocked arrow into another one causes a collision and costs a heart.
Clear the Board Without Losing Your Hearts
Each arrow moves according to the direction it points. Before selecting one, trace its route and check whether another arrow blocks the way. Removing an arrow can open a lane for pieces that were previously trapped, so the solution develops one move at a time rather than letting you clear the board in any order.
A collision removes one of your three hearts. Losing all three ends the attempt, while clearing every arrow completes the level. Later layouts become denser and use more complicated routes, making it increasingly important to notice which arrows can leave immediately and which depend on other pieces being removed first.
Controls on Desktop and Mobile
On desktop, left-click an arrow to send it away. Use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out when the paths become difficult to inspect.
On a touchscreen, tap an arrow to move it and pinch to adjust the zoom. Zooming in can help when several colored paths are packed into a small section of the board.
Choosing a Safe Arrow Order
Start by looking for arrows whose routes are already unobstructed. Because a successful removal creates additional empty space, taking a clearly free arrow first can expose another safe move without risking a heart.
When several arrows overlap or block one another, work backward from the obstruction. Identify which piece is stopping another arrow from escaping, then check whether that blocking piece has its own clear route. This turns a crowded section into a sequence of dependencies instead of a series of guesses.
The timer also means long searches have a cost. Use the zoom controls to inspect dense areas quickly, but prioritize confirmed open paths whenever you find them. A rushed collision costs a heart, while a correct removal both preserves your attempt and simplifies the remaining board.
